Local Move Encino to Storage via PackRat.
Thanks to Cody and Debra for the job in Encino. Cody was the contractor on the job. I gave him the bid for the job 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I ended having to go out and help the crew. The customer had added packing of the kitchen to the job. This kitchen had the dishes of 4 families in it. Toby called I brought out material and the boss.
At the end of the move I went to collect the bill and the customer Debrah asked who she could call to say how great the crew was. I gave her my cell number and laughed. Then told her she was talking to the boss. She then told me we didn’t charge enough and showed me a bid for double ours.
ANOTHER VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!

As the baby boomers move towards retirement and their parents also, often because the down sizing is fast things must go to storage. If your dealing with any type of storage make sure there’s another name on the account card. I recently heard of a family member that past away and that was the only name on the storage contract. This means unless the storage is paid it will go to auction. This also means probate has to happen before that storage can be opened. In this case it was a real problem the will was in the storage. So plan ahead, make sure someone can get to your storage in the event you can’t.

Most of the time a new house, new apartment or suite means new paint. All though our movers are the best, sometimes the word touch up comes into play. Most painter’s will include touch up after the movers complete their work. If your using painter’s ask them to include this as well as if your purchasing a new home. This is also the reason you want the painter’s to leave some paint behind. If you have the paint any repair should be easy. Ask Toby he can fix anything.

December was slower then in past years, but we are thankful for your support.
Local move in Moorpark into PackRat Portable storage. Thanks to Beverly and the crew at PackRat. Now she has room to work.
Local move Beverly Hills to Beverly Hills thanks to ABC for the referral.
Local move Encino to Encino Extraspace mini storage. Help Sam move parents belongings into ministorage. Sam couldn’t believe how fast and efficient his crew was. They wrapped everything and got in all in his space saving time and money.
Local Move/ hoist Agoura Hills. Thanks to Janis, she had remodeled her home but had a piece of new furniture that had to come up over a rail. It took all of maybe half an hour to do, what the delivery guys wouldn’t.
Office Move Venice Beach to Santa Monica. Inside Moves thanks Centro for the move to their new office in Santa Monica. The boys were great, as a matter of fact they let the crew in and disappeared and we completed the job.
Pack and Load service by Inside Moves in Malibu. We packed a PackRat so Richard could do a remodel in Malibu. Can’t wait to see the new place on the move back.
Office move Westlake on premises. This was a move within the building. Thanks Ross for the referral.
Local move Pacific Palisades to Pacific Palisades last minute phone order. Thanks to Ashley and Chris for trusting us with their move into their beautiful new home. Ashley was eagar to get into their new home before X-Mas. With 3 children under 2 years old she needed or help packing. The move was tough, lots of stairs on both ends and almost 200 boxes. Ashley and Chris were good sports and the crew worked their butts off. They were very happy with their move and we also were very creative on a box loan program. Mission accomplished. “O Ya” guess appearance by the owner.

Move Woodland Hills to Topanga- Inside Moves thanks Asia and her husband for trusting our crew to handle their hillside move. David and the boys knocked it out in record time. A small truck was a must for the Topanga delivery and still the boys had to march down a hill. This was a referral from Caldwell Reality.
Portable Storage unload to Pacific Palisades via Smartbox. Inside Moves thanks the Webb’s. They had to make room for their contractor’s to remodel their home. 3 months later were back moving in their new version. This is one of our specialities in the Palisades area. Seems to be more remodeling then moving. We’ll take it!!!
Encino to Encino condo move to storage- Thanks to Susan to move her to extra-space storage. She was amazed at how much we got into her storage space.
Granada Hills to Northridge- Leticia was a referral from Pinnacle Reality and the Box Pro. Great customer from the get go, Leticia was ready to move from the first meeting on the estimate. She was packed and ready to move and started and ended the day with a great attitude. Four man crew was greeted at the door with a big smile as Leticia and her son John helped finish up packing.
Leticia will be our first Utube testimonial. Thanks for making our day fun.
Senior move Chatsworth to Simi Valley- Inside Moves moved Joyce again to her new senior residence in Simi closer to her son. Toby and Chris made fast work of it, as the house dog followed them around the building.
Condo to condo Sherman Oaks to Van Nuys- Inside Moves moved Bonnie into her first house. Sunday move by special request, Bonnie called to say how pleased she was with the crew.
Unload PackRat Portable Storage in Thousand Oaks- Thanks Mike for thinking Inside Moves. The boys busted it out in a mini. Pack and Load Service by Inside Moves.
Move from Woodland Hills to the Versailles at Woodland Hills- Thanks to Rhonda At PS for referring DR.J. We moved him from his house in Woodland Hills to the Versailles Apartments. Were waiting for his call to move back when his home is done.
Move from Hollywood Hills to Reseda and storage Northridge. Jared was referred by PODS LA OPS Manager. This move started out as a pod job ended up a local move. Jared like everyone that moves, needed to save money. After working with him on several different solutions and waiting for the day to arrive the move went without a flaw. ( We were once PODS prefered loader, It’s nice that they still remember where to get the best service)

As a moving crew were going to do everything we can to keep your goods dry.
But it never hurts to leave a few old towels out to wipe off the drops that sneak through. We will pad the entry floors with pads but towels always are a good idea.
Keep DRY and if your a surfer or a skier watch the forecasts and plan your sick days accordingly.

Unless you have a very small move, and even then the first thing you should do moving day is EAT!!!!
Moving day is loaded with lots to do and not enough time to do it. So it’s very important your body has fuel to run on.
I tell all my crews they must be fed and ready to work when they show up in the morning. Moving is a tough job and even if your a spectator, so have the energy to last the job. If your job is an all day job make you get lunch and keep hydrated. Don’t move on an empty stomach. This will also help keep your attitude positive through the day.
